Augustine SC Hong is a Managing Partner of Hightower Advisors and CEO of Alexandria Capital. He is a seasoned and sought-after investment and wealth management professional with 30+ years of experience advising and serving high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses, particularly working with entrepreneurs and startups in media and technology.
He is also a committed investor advocate and champion of change in the retail financial marketplace for more affordable and accessible financial guidance. He has a track record of successfully founding businesses in institutional asset management, business consulting, M&A, leadership coaching, and media and entertainment.
Mr. Hong is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and has earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Management at Binghamton University.
Mr. Hong’s previous endeavors include being the founder and President of Princeton Advisory Group, a multi-billion dollar fixed-income manager, founder and managing principal of Botree Capital Partners, a consultant to startups and investors in early-stage companies; and Chairman and President of ImaginAsian Entertainment, the first Asian American mainstream cable network in the US.
Mr. Hong enjoys building, sharing, and learning, particularly as they relate to optimizing creativity and collaboration in the workplace. He is a critical advocate for fiduciary changes in the retail financial services industry and a great fan and student of how technology, regulation, and consolidation activities are changing the market landscape.
