Jonathan Ferguson, CFA

Johnathan Ferguson is a Managing Director and Partner of Alexandria Capital. He is responsible for overseeing the company's investment research & portfolio management efforts, articulating investment ideas & outlook, engaging with clients, and collaborating with others to enhance the operations, service, and vision of the company.

Before Alexandria and FIC Capital, his previous asset management venture, Jon held investment research positions at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, Credit Suisse, and Schroders. Jon's research experience and responsibilities have provided broad exposure to investment markets and industry sectors throughout his career, including healthcare, finance, consumer products, retail, telecommunications, technology, energy, and industrials.

Jon holds an MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University, a BS in Economics, and a BA in Mathematics from Binghamton University. He is also a CFA Charter holder and member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, he is active in his community and is a volunteer for various youth programs, has a passion for helping others, and is a member of the Board of Directors for the ARC of Westchester Foundation (and previously served as the Treasury and member of the Executive Committee for the Board of Directors of the ARC of Westchester, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enabling and enriching the lives of people with developmental disabilities).
