John Redican, CFP^®

John Redican is a Senior Wealth Advisor at Alexandria Capital. John has 25+ years of experience as a portfolio manager and wealth advisor. John was part of FIC Capital prior to its merger with Alexandria in 2017. At FIC, John worked closely with clients to develop objectives and define constraints. John also served as the firm's Chief Compliance Officer, sat on the investment committee, and focused on business development.

Before FIC Capital, John was Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer of REMCO Asset Management in Melville, New York. John's passion for investing developed at a young age while pouring over financials with his father, and ever since, he has been providing investment and wealth management for a select group of clients. John's experience includes leadership roles at Weatherly REMCO Asset Management and Dominick & Dominick Advisors.

John earned an MBA in Finance with Distinction from Hofstra University's Frank G. Zarb Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a Minor in Economics from Hofstra University. He also earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2019.

John spends much of his spare time engaged with several charities. He is on the main committee for Long Island Fights for Charity. He is a founder and board member of Hearts for Russ Housman and is actively working to increase organ donor awareness, and transplant recipient needs through LITRIO. When he is not working or engaged with charities, he can be found spending time with his wife and three children.
